Shady Shepherd Tactics: Delivering You From Spirit Spouses

AUDIO VERSION: YouTube  Podbean

Here’s how it works in the world of Christian deliverance ministries.  First, you pick an issue that a ton of humans struggle with.  The juicier the issue is, the better. You want to go for a problem that frequently results in shame, heartache, or embarrassment.  Once you pick the issue, you then go on to the next step: demonize it.  Here’s where you make up some cockamamie story about how anyone who struggles with this issue only struggles with it because they’ve become some pawn of evil forces which are out to get them.  If you’re not an imaginative person, then borrow from the pagans, because they’ve got spiritually terrorizing people down to an art.  Once you’ve come up with a nice horrifying explanation for why people struggle with the issue you’ve picked, then you set up shop on the internet or in a church and you wait for a nice vulnerable victim to come stumbling into your lair.  You want someone who shows signs of being distressed, broken, or traumatized.  The more wounded they are, the more desperate they are, and the more likely they’ll be to believe whatever you tell them.  Here’s where you unleash your horror story on them about how the problems they are telling you about are sure indicators that they are in some great spiritual crisis.  And once you’ve successfully convinced them that they are helplessly locked in the clutches of some super powerful, super evil entity, you magnanimously offer to deliver them.  Isn’t that nice of you? Dealing with Ghosts: Essential Facts & Effective Defenses

AUDIO VERSION: YouTube  Podbean

In this post, we’re going to teach you about ghosts.  If you think ghosts are cool, realize that you’re seriously lacking in spiritual wisdom.  There’s nothing cool, entertaining or safe about ghosts.  We aren’t discussing this subject to entertain spiritual morons and rebels who think they can flirt with supernatural beings and come out unscathed.  The purpose of this post is to help people who are sincerely interested in making wise spiritual choices.  Read more of this post

Numerology, Gematria & Bible Codes: Being Stupid with Numbers

AUDIO VERSION: YouTube  Podbean

Here’s how it works in the world of numerology.  First, you pick a number—any number.  Then you randomly pluck some concept out of the air that you want to associate with that number.  For example, you might decide that the number 4 represents healing.  Once you accept your own baloney as truth, then you start peddling it to other people.  So when your friend Judy finds out that she has a terminal illness and she comes to you for help, you say something like, “Take heart, Judy.  I’m sure you’ll be healed.  Look: four ducks are swimming in the pond, and four is the number of healing.  Clearly those ducks are a sign from God telling you that He’s promising to give you total healing.”  This is the kind of moron you turn into when you go down the road of numerology. Q1: HOW DO PEOPLE GET POSSESSED IN THE FIRST PLACE?

What people call demonic possession is a case of demons gaining temporary control over someone’s earthsuit.  Your earthsuit is the miraculous machine that you see when you look into a mirror.  It has three main components: a brain (which is like the computer that runs the whole thing), a body, and emotions.  When demons possess your earthsuit, they can force your earthsuit to do things that you don’t want it to do.

Your earthsuit and your soul are two entirely separate entities.  If you think of your earthsuit like a car, then your soul is the man driving the car.  While the driver is not the car, he will feel very upset if the car starts malfunctioning.  Read more of this post

Understanding Verbal Blessing & Cursing: So Much Hype, So Little Power

In this post, you will learn everything you need to know about the human practice of verbally blessing and cursing other humans.

HOW HUMANS VIEW BLESSING & CURSING

There are two main ways that humans view blessing and cursing.  For non-serious users, the phrase “Bless you!” is the same as saying “Thank you!” or “I like you!” or “Wow, you seem like such a nice person that I hope things go well for you in the future.”  Alternately, to say “Curse you!” is a way of saying “I hate you!” or “You’re such a jerk!” or “I hope rotten things happen to you because you’ve upset me!”  For non-serious users, blessing and cursing people or objects is just a way of expressing personal joy or anger. Downgrading the Devil: Debunking the Myth of Lucifer

122

AUDIO VERSION: YouTube  Podbean

Among Christians, it is commonly believed that bad ole Satan wasn’t always the shady, malicious character he is today.  Instead, Christians are told that a long time ago, evil Satan used to be a beautiful, brilliant, perfect and powerful angel named Lucifer.  Lucifer had it all.  Lucifer was the chief angel—God’s right hand guy.  But then Lucifer got a big head and all greedy for more power.  So he staged some kind of coup against God, which sparked a massive civil war among the angels.  A third of the angels sided with Lucifer, the rest sided with God.  Team Lucifer lost, and they all got booted out of Heaven, cursed, and turned into the ugly, slinking creatures we know as demons today.  The archangel Michael then took over as the top commander of all the good angels, and today he and Lucifer are constantly going at it.  This is the quick summary of who Christians think Lucifer is.  And guess what?  It’s all a bunch of hooey. Dealing with Distressing Voices & Visions: Validation, Explanations & Hope for Schizophrenics

AUDIO VERSION: YouTube  Podbean

Suppose you look down and you see a huge cockroach sitting on your abdomen.  The thing is twice as big as your foot and uglier than sin.  How are you going to respond to this situation?  You’re certainly not going to just stand there calmly.  You’re going to freak out.  You’re going to fly into whatever emergency responses feel most natural to you based on your temperament and your cultural upbringing.

Now suppose that no one else can see that big old cockroach except you.  How does this change your situation?  It doesn’t change a thing.  In the first place, you don’t realize that you’re the only one who can see the thing.  In the second place, you don’t give a darn about what other people do or don’t see because you’ve got a gargantuan cockroach crouching on your abdomen and who knows what malicious plans it’s cooking up? Getting that hideous monstrosity off of your body is going to be your number one priority, and based on the feedback your senses are receiving, it makes perfect sense to you to grab a knife and try to stab the thing to death.  Now because the cockroach isn’t really there in physical form, your knife goes right through it and you end up stabbing yourself in the gut.  But when the pain signals flood into your brain, are you going to realize what’s really happening?  No, because you’re out of your mind with panic at the moment, and you’ll mistake the pain for evidence that that huge ugly creature is starting to eat you.  So while you’re bleeding all over the place, you’re also screaming and waving that knife, and if someone else doesn’t rush to your aid and get that weapon away from you, you just might end up killing yourself. Genesis 6 in Context: Demystifying the Nephilim

184

AUDIO VERSION: YouTube  Podbean

Today it is commonly taught that Genesis 6 describes male angels having sexual relations with human females, the outcome of which is a generation of angel-human hybrids called Nephilim.  So is this really what is going on in Genesis 6?  No, it’s not.

There are many translations of the Bible, and each translation is working towards a certain set of goals (see Bible Study Help: Which translation should you use?).  When the goal is to convey the general idea of a passage as simply as possible, translators end up taking a lot of liberties with the text.  Now suppose you are a Bible translator.  Once you decide in your mind that angels are being described in Genesis 6, then you might put the word “angel” or “supernatural being” in your translation of that chapter, even though that’s really not what the text says.  In your mind, you’re making the passage more clear to others, but in reality what you’re doing is shifting the language to reflect your own interpretation of words which could be interpreted multiple ways.  When people come along and read your revised version of the passage, they don’t see the other options you had to choose from, because by not translating the original language more accurately, you make your interpretation sound like the only one that’s possible.  This happens with Bible translations all the time, which is why it’s very helpful to compare different translations of the passage you’re studying. Demonic Possession: When Should You Get Involved?

AUDIO VERSION: YouTube  Podbean

If you can see that someone has a problem, is it your moral duty to try and fix that problem for them?  Many Christians would say yes.  God says no.  You see, God is the One dishing out the problems in the first place, and He has very strategic reasons for giving people the problems that He does.  When you then come along and condemn what God is doing, where is your respect for God’s Authority?  Where is your acknowledgement that His wisdom is vastly superior to yours? Miracles in the End Times: The Mechanics & The God-Honoring Response

245

AUDIO VERSION: YouTube  Podbean

Humans do not have supernatural powers.  They can’t perform miracles, their spells and curses are nothing but noise, and they can’t see into the future.  They can’t read minds, and they can’t separate their souls from their earthsuits, much to the chagrin of many astral projection addicts.  We could spend this entire post talking about what humans can’t do, but no matter how true it is that humans are impotent little specks who aren’t even smart enough to understand how much they don’t understand, most people would think we’re wrong to paint humans in such an unimpressive light.  Do you know why?  Because humans are such undiscerning dopes that you can get them to believe anything if you just toy with their senses and tell them what their egos want to hear.  Now don’t misunderstand—we love humans.  Humans are the most precious element of this creation and the only part of this world which God is going to keep when He wipes this place out.  If humans were content to be the dearly loved, powerless specks that they are, we wouldn’t need to bother with this post.  But because humans refuse to accept how limited they are, they insist on putting their faith in fantasies.  From the very beginning, humans have been seeking out ways to try and lessen the difference between them and their Creators.  Why did Adam and Eve sample the forbidden fruit?  Because they thought it would expand their abilities and move them one step closer to being equal to God.  Why do we constantly do what God warns us not to do?  Because we resent the whole notion of Him putting limits on us.  How dare He.  Who does He think He is, anyway?
