It’s time for another post about the end times. It’s been a while since we posted any new material on this subject, and the time gap has been stressing some of you. So let’s address that. What should you make of the fact that we’re so irregular about our posting schedule? Sometimes we post a new article every day, then we’ll suddenly stop and go for weeks without saying a peep. How should you be interpreting our silence? Well, God is simply not the predictable, easy-to-schedule kind of Guy that Christians make Him out to be by pretending that God is actually the Source of the sermons they crank out every seven days. If Christian pastors were to suddenly stop talking to hear themselves and only preach sermons that God is actually giving them, there would be many cancelled church services. There would also be many sermons given on random days and nights of the week which people would have to drop everything and rush to if they wanted to catch God’s latest message. God doesn’t revolve around human schedules. Instead, He is notorious for acting unpredictable, showing up at unexpected times, and giving out some very inconvenient orders. If Christians weren’t so good at selling you a phony picture of God, it wouldn’t surprise you at all that folks who are actually speaking for Him don’t stick to a predictable schedule. We can’t tell you when God’s next message to us will be, because we have no idea. We can’t predict when we’ll put out another post, or how long our website will be around. But we do know when God is not authorizing us to speak, and because we are working for Him and not for people, we don’t talk about Him on the world wide web until He tells us to do so. “When?” is a question that always gets asked whenever God starts prophesying events that are coming in the future. It doesn’t matter whether God is describing good things or bad things—everyone wants to know dates. Humans always want to know more than God is willing to tell them, and they get all huffy when He won’t come forth with more details. So why doesn’t He? Continue reading End Time Prophecy: Why God Withholds Information
We’ve said before that our material on the end times is unique, meaning you’re not going to find anyone else online prepping you the way that we’re prepping for this period. Some of our readers have taken the time to test the truth of this claim, and they’ve discovered that we’re right: amid the vast ocean of folks who are all spinning off end times predictions, no one is teaching what we’re teaching. Okay, so we weren’t bulling you about how rare our teaching is: but then what? Continue reading The End Times: How is God Getting the Word Out?
As an individual human, you have developed certain assumptions about who God is, what He’s like and how He operates. The more time you spend thinking about the subject of God, the more assumptions you’ll develop about Him. Someone else might take issue with some of your theories about God, but to you, your own ideas about God will feel pretty reasonable, logical, and supported by your own experience or lack of experience with Him. Suppose you want to have a conversation with your buddy Chen that you don’t want the people around you to understand. You and Chen are sitting in a coffee shop and it sounds like everyone around you is speaking American English. You don’t see any other Asian faces in the crowd. Good. You say something to Chen in your native tongue of Mandarin. Chen smiles and answers back in the same language and soon the two of you are having a jolly time making jokes about the people around you. Because no one understands the language you’re speaking in, no one gets offended. Continue reading Clear, Not Cryptic: How God Prepares You for the End Times
This is a post about the end times. The real end times. As in, the end times that are actually going to happen—not the end times everyone thinks are going to happen. Now maybe you find the end times to be a very tiresome subject and you’re sick of hearing people yammer on and on about it. This is certainly how we feel about the topic of the end times. Today the internet is polluted with legions of morons, glory hogs, and greedy con artists who are using the topic of the end times to try and promote themselves or get something out of you. Many want your money and your email address so they can electronically hound you from now on. Others will just settle for your admiration, some gushing comments, and a like on their website. Well, we don’t want any of that nonsense. We have no interest in your money, we find admiration annoying, and we aren’t going to maintain websites for you to yammer on, which is why we keep our comment fields closed. You see, we just aren’t doing this for you, and the honest truth is that it really doesn’t make any difference to us if you listen to our material or not. What we teach you about the end times is the truth, which is why it is so different from what everyone else is telling you. But so what? Humans blow off truth all the time, and since we’re not responsible for your choices, why should we get worked up over what kinds of choices you’re making? If you make dumb choices, you’ll end up in Hell. If you make wise ones, you’ll have a shot at Heaven. Either way, your personal future with God won’t have any impact on our own futures with God, and this is why we’re just not invested in pressuring you into making wise choices. See how it works? This is a “take it or leave it” kind of deal. Continue reading Preparing for the End Times: An Introduction
God is not an American. He’s not a Jew, either. God is not any nationality, and He doesn’t view the countries of the world the way that we do. While America is often referred to as a world super power, to God, America is just one teensy little patch of land on a dot of a planet which exists in a vast universe that He is sustaining. From God’s perspective, there’s nothing “super” or “powerful” about human politics. God is not a capitalist or a communist. He’s not a democrat or a republican. While God certainly understands the human perspective, His own perspective is vastly different than ours, and this a fact which you really need to keep a grip on.
